Word games
Shall we play hangman? A pastime with which you will learn new words, vowels and letters. Sure you will have fun, let’s choose a word and I will put the holes for each letter and vowel and you will say letters, but be careful, do not choose wrong or you can hang yourself.
Who am I or what am I? A game with which you will learn to differentiate objects, animals and expressions. Will I be a penguin or a fork? It will help you to learn to ask and laugh non-stop, Am I an animal, Am I red, Do I serve to eat, What am I?

Is it a roscón de reyes? No, it’s Pasapalabra. A Spanish TV program with which you won’t stop learning new words. You will find a roulette with all the letters of the Spanish alphabet and each letter will have a meaning that will help you guess the word. Traditional board games in Spain
Here is a sample of traditional Spanish games. What are you waiting for to have fun!
THE SPANISH GOOSE
From goose to goose and I shoot because it’s my turn. Invite a friend and play. Each one of you will roll a die and the pieces will advance through this fun board in the shape of a snail with drawings. Reach the last square before your friend and win.
SPANISH PARCHIS
Red, green, yellow or blue, choose color and let’s start. A fun game of four that each one has four pieces of his color, get to the goal with all your pieces. Roll the dice and if you get a five you will leave your house to start, but be careful not to get eaten.
SPANISH TRIVIAL
A little cheese! It’s delicious, but don’t eat it, save it. Trivial is a game with which you will learn Spanish culture. Play with your friends and roll the dice, you landed on blue! Geography, your partner will take a card and ask you a question on this topic and if you guess it, congratulations, you got a blue quesito. You have less time left to win, get all the cheeses (purple, yellow, pink, green and orange) before your opponent does it first.
MONOPOLY IN SPANISH
BANKRUPTCY! OH NO! Don’t let it happen to you, buy, sell and trade properties to win. Build houses and hotels and make your friends pay you and go bankrupt. If they run out of money you win.
The spanish deck
The Spanish deck is a set of forty-eight or forty cards divided into four families. Gold, cups, swords and clubs, sounds like a knight’s story, doesn’t it? Each family has twelve cards ranging from number one to nine and three cards from ten to twelve known as Jack, Knight and King. What I was telling you, a story of warriors.

THE LIAR
Do you know how to lie? I know it’s not the right thing to do, but in this game you will be allowed to lie, so what are you waiting for? Play with your friends and the Spanish deck, your goal is to get rid of all your cards from your hand by cheating your opponents.
EL BURRO
«¡BURRO!» Never let them call you donkey. In this game for four to ten people you will try to have four cards in your hand that are the same. In each round you will pass one of your four cards that is not useful to you and you will take the one that your partner leaves you. EY! I have four matching cards, run, put your hand in the middle of the table and shout four, the last one to put his hand will get a letter of the word donkey, so don’t be the last one. When one of the group gets all the letters, shout «¡BURRO!»
The SQUARE
Get a partner, run and finish on a signal, if you whistled shout square. This fun card game consists of a game from four and is played in pairs. Each member will be placed in front of his partner. In the middle of the table five cards are placed and when you say go, you will take a card from the center or those you need and go leaving your hand, the goal is to have four identical cards in your hand. You hear a whistle, run and shout square, that means that your partner has four of the same cards, YOU WON!
THE SOLITAIRE
You are bored at home and you have no one to play with, relax with the solitaire and the time will pass in no time. Arrange your Spanish cards in seven columns and put the others face down in a corner. Your goal is to arrange the cards in order from the least to the greatest from one to twelve.
